Jim Trombly did an amazing job replacing our oil boiler with a gas boiler. The new boiler works great. I was most impressed at their speed. In one day, the tore out the old furnace, removed the oil tank, installed a 90% efficient gas boiler and got it inspected by the city. They are very professional. Their cost was much lower than competing bids. Interestingly they used a different gas boiler, HTP PHR 100-55 Pioneer that simplified installation and has worked well.

Thank you for the excellent job that Eric, Tim, and Matt did on my Thermo Pride Furnace installation. They were courteous, clean, professional, and knowledgeable. Everything a customer hopes for. After installation, Eric ran the furnace to check everything out. We noticed a little “humming” noise in the intake duct that was caused by the high blower motor speed. He eliminated that by using the motor control dip switches to drop the speed down 100 RPM or so. The guys did a great job!

I am writing to express my appreciation for the service and professionalism of Granite State Water Systems, and specifically Frank. I had researched several water treatment companies, and considered several approaches to solving the peculiarities of my unique water situation. I had become disillusioned, as I observed hard sell techniques, scare tactics, and outright lies, told to me by so called water professionals. I learned much about the dark side of the water treatment business, and Frank’s straight talk was a refreshing change. Selling me a water treatment system, in retrospect was relatively easy, I definitely had a need, and I could have bought from any number of sources. I truly made the correct decision when I used Frank, the system was delivered, and installed on time, but when his approach failed to meet my water standards, he met the challenge head on. We agreed that his tools were not up to the challenge of the entirety of my purification needs, and true to his word, he agreed to remove the system, and take an obvious loss on his labor, and equipment to service my needs. When I decided to change my approach, and connect to a local water system I contracted Frank to provide services and install the new water line. Frank was very patient, allowed me to keep the system in place until I could schedule my connection to the new service. On the day of the excavation, he was there making sure my property was graded properly. In short, the most complete service I could ever ask for. I’m writing to say thanks and to recognize Frank, and Jim Trombly Plumbing Heating and Cooling as one of the “good guys.”

Thank you for bailing us out, literally and figuratively. I wanted to acknowledge the good-natured competency of Jay and his helper (I forgot his name). My staff people told me about the difficult conditions under which they had to work as well as some details about the “nasty” nature of the job. Jim Trombly Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling has been a godsend for M.E.H. As a small, non-profit, apartment-style emergency shelter for homeless families we utilize an old house and do not have a lot of funds available for upkeep and enhancements to the facility. At the same time, we are often responsible for seeing to the needs of as many as eight families consisting of as man as ten adults and twenty or more children of various ages. Thus, as in this case, a blocked sewer line constitutes a major problem and repairs cannot await another day. I am glad that I was able to call your company and anticipate an almost immediate response. I have watched, over my adult life, as many companies, big and small, have become little more than empty shells. For example, phones are answered by machines, employees cannot answer questions and real expertise is in short supply. Having worked in the trades myself, I have immense respect for people who can take charge and get the job done. Because of your efforts during the night our house was back in order before the morning when more than a dozen kids got up in the morning to use bathrooms and prepare to go off to school. Would you please thank Jay and his helper on behalf of M.E.H. and on behalf of the many adults and kids who would have been greatly inconvenienced in the morning had it not been for your company and your employees. I am personally grateful for your assistance in matters of these types and I am glad that some “real” companies still exist. Keep up the good work.

On two separate occasions, your employee, Thomas Sands, identified problems at my residence after I have had numerous people here who came up with zero.
